A moving carriage.
A whole new way to move.

The Reformer is a piece of Pilates equipment with a sliding carriage, adjustable springs, straps and a footbar. The springs provide resistance or support, depending on the exercise.

You’ll explore a variety of movements—lying down, seated, kneeling and standing—with your instructor guiding you through the equipment and each exercise.

Build strength

Work your whole body through controlled movements, using the springs in different ways.

Explore mobility

Move in different directions and develop control through a range that suits you.

Find your focus

Connect your breathing and movement, with time to concentrate on how you move.

All abilities.
Your own starting point.

You don’t need to complete a beginners course before joining our regular classes. Whether you’re new to Reformer or have experience, your instructor offers options so you can work at your own level.

Choose a class time that fits your day. Let us know it’s your first visit and we’ll help you get settled.

50 minutes of guided, full-body movement.

Each person has their own Reformer, with up to 12 people in a class. Your instructor leads the group, explains the exercises and guides you through any equipment or spring changes.

Expect a mix of strength, mobility, balance and coordination work, with attention to breathing and control. You might use the footbar, straps or smaller equipment, and explore exercises lying down, seated, kneeling or standing.

Settle into movement

Your instructor helps you get started, introducing the movements and equipment you’ll use.

Exercises develop in layers, with options to adjust the challenge. Work at the level that suits you on the day.
