At nearly 60, I’ve found myself returning to something that has always quietly been part of my life—movement.
I started teaching at 18 as a YMCA Exercise to Music instructor, and for over 30 years I taught aerobics, circuits, and step. Life then took me down a different path, building a career in professional services as a Chartered Accountant and MBA, growing and selling businesses, and raising a family.
I’m also a mum to three children, aged 23, 18 and 7, and having my youngest, George, at 50 was a real turning point. It reminded me just how important it is to take care of your body—to build strength, stay mobile, and make space for yourself.
Pilates came into my life when I needed it most. As a runner, I was looking for something more—strength, flexibility, coordination, and a way to manage stress. It gave me all of that, and more. After completing over 600 classes, I went on to train in both Mat and Reformer Pilates.
Coming back into teaching has felt incredibly rewarding, but also humbling. I know how it feels to walk into a class and not quite know what you’re doing, and I never want anyone to feel out of place or intimidated.
Complete Reformer comes from a genuine love of Pilates and a simple intention—to create a welcoming, supportive space where people can move, feel stronger, and take care of themselves, whatever their starting point.

Business Manager /Instructor
With over a decade of experience in fitness, nutrition, and dance, I bring a passion for movement and a love for helping others feel their best. Before stepping into the world of Pilates, I enjoyed an career as a professional dancer, performing on tours and working overseas. I also ran a dance school, sharing the joy of movement with hundreds of students.
After having my baby last year, I was inspired to focus on Reformer Pilates and its incredible benefits for strength, alignment, and overall well-being. My classes are upbeat, fun, and designed for everyone, no matter your level. Whether you’re looking to improve core strength, enhance flexibility, or simply enjoy a positive workout, you’ll feel right at home in my sessions.

I am a fully qualified and experienced health and fitness professional who specialises in body and mind disciplines such as Pilates, Yoga, Pranayama Breathing techniques and Meditation
Whilst I originally trained as a fitness professional, I soon began to appreciate the extraordinary power of the mind. I believe in a more holistic approach to achieving wellbeing and longevity through a combination of good nutrition and exercise for both body and mind.
My deep knowledge and understanding of complex human physiology is drawn from my Master’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science, which I completed at the renowned University of North Carolina in the U.S.A. During my five years in the U.S. I also attained numerous certifications and qualifications, including Mat Pilates, Fitness and Health Professional and Yoga Instructor.
In order to deepen my knowledge and experience in Yoga/Meditation/Breathing, I went to the Himalayan mountains in India to study Yoga at its source. Pilates, in combination with Yoga and Meditation help me find my own inner peace and purpose in life.
My aim, through teaching these disciplines to other people, is to help them find theirs.

Hi, I’m Elise!
I fell in love with Reformer Pilates over 10 years ago when I started taking classes on a whim.
I went to university to train as a nurse, but after a few years of working with the NHS, I realised that we can prevent so much injury and illness by taking better care of our bodies through exercise.
I decided to train to become a Pilates teacher, and what started as a side hustle quickly became a full time love affair.
Pilates really is ‘movement medicine’ and I hope to see you in my classes soon!
